But I'm not getting any connection. I checked and the drivers are installed correctly. I also have some mac's I am wondering is there some kind of setting on the radio to allow it to communicate?
Have you used this software? I installed it all and got my cable. I plugged it all in and there is no comunication between the computer and the Yaseu? Last edited: May 10, Just a thought here - some software must have the cable plugged in to make it work. Try connecting the cable you likely wouldn't need the radio turned on then executing the software Currently active nodes and rooms can be searched in real time, and viewed on the display of your transceiver. The display list is sorted according to the number of stations currently connected to the room, in other words by popularity.
This lets you quickly find other active stations to communicate with. Node owners can freely create a room ID using letters and numbers. The ID works a bit like the name of a person. Easy to understand, meaningful names, unique names, memorable names A history of previous nodes and rooms, and a memory function with five categories makes it a snap to find and connect with a particular ID.
VX-6 Commander v. NGenLog v. Swisslog v. PstRotator v. PstRotatorAz v. Pages : 1 2 Free. I am using the software for research, good work! Boosting productivity of my team by allowing them to input ideas and get the response from other Good software. I absolutely love this. This was very easy once I reset the step to 15 so that the radio automatically increased the frequency by.
Sorry, it's been a while since I had done that and I can't locate my manual at the moment. Anyway, I wanted the software primarily to easily program the banks.
It has been wonderful for that. On a recent trip to St. Louis, I programmed several areas into their own banks so that I would just be hearing what I wanted to. When I got back home, I could easily reload my home settings. It's been extremely helpful software and I have used it to add other area channels emergency management, etc. Mark, thank you for your reply. CD has picture of VX on it. Here is what I think happened, and will will have to verify with another PC.
Perhaps since the software could not find the VX during installation, it did not load the correct software. If you are using the adapter to hookup your home antenna or mobile then that is fine, but for portable use you are asking to snap the SMA off the radio. The stock antenna does pretty good for RR band use but better antennas can be had from Smiley and others.
I haven't used the software, but I'm not sure what the big deal is about programming either the VX or from the keypad. I programmed all 97 AAR channels in with alpha tags right after I bought each radio. It took me about an hour or so to program each radio and I haven't had to touch the programming on either one since.
